We are very happy to inform you that after almost two months of compulsory shutdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Galicia Jewish Museum is reopening its doors to visitors.
We will be open from Saturday, May 16th, 2020. At the same time we would like to inform you that the opening hours of the museum have changed:
• On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 12.00–17.00
• Tuesdays: closed
• On Saturdays and Sundays: 10.00–17.00
These opening hours will remain in effect until May 31st, 2020. They are subject to change depending on the current pandemic situation. We would kindly ask you to consult our website or Facebook page for current information when planning your visit.
According to the recommendations of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, we are also introducing new rules regarding the number of people who can visit the museum at the same time. We would kindly ask you for your understanding with regards to these new safety rules.
We are very happy that we will once again be able to see you at our permanent exhibition, “Traces of Memory”, as well as our temporary exhibition, “From Home to Home. A Tale of the Wartime Exile and Survival of the Pisek Family”. We also invite you to come and visit our museum bookshop and have a great cup of – for now – takeout coffee.
See you at the Galicia Jewish Museum!
