Open meeting with a witness to history: Bernard Offen

We would like to invite you to a meeting with Bernard Offen (b. 1929), a Holocaust survivor of the Kraków Ghetto where he was a prisoner from its establishment to its liquidation (1941–1943), former prisoner of Płaszów, Auschwitz-Birkenau, Mauthausen, and Dachau concentration and death camps, and author of the book, My Hometown Concentration Camp. During the meeting, there will be a screening of one of Mr. Bernard Offen’s films, The Work (37 minutes).

This is an accompanying event to the exhibition of the winning work of the Inaugural Chris Schwarz Memorial Art Award “Doors”.
